Before your team commits time to an application, we review the funding guidelines with you. Is your organisation eligible? Does the project meet the program objectives? Can you provide the evidence and any required co-funding by the deadline?
What you receive: A recommendation on whether to apply, the reasons behind it and a list of any gaps to resolve.
We work with the people responsible for the project and its budget to draft the application against the assessment criteria. We explain what the funding will pay for, what your organisation will contribute, what will change if the project goes ahead and how you will measure the result.
For example, if you’re seeking funding for new equipment, a supplier quote establishes the purchase price. The application also needs to explain what the equipment will enable, why the investment is needed now and what evidence supports the expected improvement.
What you receive: A completed grant application for your review and sign-off. Where the program requires a supporting business case, we can prepare that as part of the engagement.
Chase Consulting helped RollsPack prepare the business case, financial model and investment plan for a federal grant application. RollsPack secured $850,000 to upgrade its printing, lamination and packaging equipment at its Braeside facility in Victoria. The grant allowed RollsPack to make the investment over 12 months instead of four years.
